The Sequal Eclipse is the ultimate device for portable oxygen. It is recommended for patients of whom wish to travel and require oxygen for more than 16 hours aday and use oxygen overnight. It can also be used in conjunction with CPAP and BIPAP, face masks, humidifer bottles and of course nose cannula!
This device can be used overnight on continuous oxygen mode between 0.5lpm to 3lpm. It can also provide up to 6lpm on pulse mode for good reliable ambulatory use and particularly effective with patients that struggle to maintain good O2 saturation levels.
Each battery can provide up to 5 hours usage at 1 to 4lpm in pulse mode and the Eclipse can be run on DC car adaptor or any mains voltage system around the world. Meaning it is also fine to use on cruise ships and is approved by most major airlines.
The Eclipse 3 has great new features that make it capable of supplying oxygen up to high level dosages of 6lpm (192ml per breath). It also monitors patient breathing every 15 seconds on pulse mode and if it dicovers that the patient is struggling to breath it automatically alternates between continuous flow and pulse to ensure that the patient receives oxygen correctly. For instance if a patient falls asleep on the pulse mode the Eclipse will automatically switch to continuous flow to ensure maximum patient safety.
